About the Photo - If you have ever thawed your fish and had it come out looking like the photo above then chances are it has been over soaked. Notice that you can practically see right through these fillets. The result of this will ultimately be a dramatic reduction in portion size and fish falling apart when cooking.

Our Advice - IF YOU ARE BUYING ON PRICE ALONE, expect to get what you pay for - that is inferior quality product. This is a photo that was recently taken from our inspectors in China verifying that this is 91% Moisture product. Expect this product to be hitting North American markets soon.

Tradex Foods Pangasius vs Competitor Pangasius

Good Pangasius vs Bad Pangasius

This is a photo courtesy of one of our customers that took a picture of our SINBAD Pangasius compared to 2 other competitors. We cannot give out the names of the competitors or the price difference between the products but this goes to shows the difference in value when products are purchased based on price alone.

The pink or yellow coloring in the inferior Pangasius indicates product of lesser value which ultimately means it was purchased at a cheaper price as compared to a superior product. Inferior Pangasius is usually not as well trimmed along the edges and do not have the bellies removed.

Undercurrent news featured an interview style article on Rob Reierson in the first of their "Seafood Entrepreneurs" series on CEO's in the Seafood Industry. The article focuses on how Rob started Tradex Foods and what he did prior. It also focused on Tradex practicing transparancy in the midst of deceptive seafood practices happening everywhere and how he's always trying to stay ahead in the market and with technology.
